Honda fit grinding noise when starting. In October it started grinding with a cold start, but not always. However, this does not only happen during cold starts, which is characteristic for VTC actuator issues. As the weather gets colder, I get this horrible grinding noise immediately upon starting the car. The dealer told me that the noise is I’ve got a 2010 Fit Sport up here in Chicago.
