  1. Wigtown books, 📖 . Last day running the shop. The Bookshop, Wigtown The Bookshop is the largest second-hand bookshop in Scotland, with over a mile of shelving supporting roughly 100,000 books. The Wigtown Emporium At the Wigtown Emporium, we sell an intriguing and always changing variety of vintage and retro curiosities, including unusual gifts, jewelry, lights, cameras and clocks, art, and of course, books. In England, there’s Sedbergh; in Wales, the famous Hay-on-Wye. The shop, the oldest bookshop in Wigtown, Scotland’s National Booktown, is home to our extensive range of stock covering all subjects of all ages for all ages.
